Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids play “Stand By Me“

Hey guys! These past weeks have been really hard for a lot of people. We personally know several families who have lost everything in the flooding of Hurricane Helene. So many people are displaced, unsure of what to do, and hurting. We first recorded this song 4 ½ years ago at the Don Cesar Hotel in St. Pete Beach during the quarantine. No one was there except a very limited staff. Colt has played at the Don Cesar for the last 14 years, and in 2020 they asked if we wanted to record a song there to bring a little bit of levity and let people know we were all in it together. The Don Cesar is temporarily closed until further notice, dealing with their own issues with flooding and damage from the storm. With every story of heartache, loss and sorrow there are also stories of strength, resilience, heroism and communities banding together to help each other. Life is hard, but knowing that there are good people everywhere, ready and willing to lend a hand is what makes it bearable and gives us hope. Dr
