🇺🇸 The playing ground of the Basque virtuoso Jean-Marie Ecay extends from blues to rock, passing through jazz and fusion, and his daring playing based on improvisation served him as a key to build an international career. From Randy Brecker to Gino Vanelli, from Claude Nougaro, Jean-Luc Ponty, Stanley Clarke and Billy Cobham, Jean-Marie collects prestigious collaborations. It is an honor for us to welcome him into the United Guitars team. For this occasion, he unearthed “Streggae Dance“, a fusion piece driven by a Jamaican vibe, which he had once played live with Loïc Pontieux and Philippe Chayeb. He shares this special moment with another colossus of the genre, mister Franck Gambale (ex-right arm of Chick Corea in the Elektric Band and inventor of the sweeping technique) as well as Yoann Kempst and Richard Daudé. A session that will remain etched in our memories for a long time!
