The Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race made an emphatic return in 2021. 88 boats were on the start lines on Sydney Harbour, including 17 in the inaugural Two-Handed Division. Challenging conditions tested the fleet in the early stages of racing, leading to 38 retirements. Matt Allen’s Botin 52, Ichi Ban, made history in winning the Tattersall Cup, as the overall winner on corrected time. Ichi Ban is now one of just three boats - alongside Freya and Love & War - to win the coveted trophy three times.
