Our whole society is built on the idea of a solid personality. We think we need to present and perform to be seen by others. While we’re trying to get the attention of others, we are constantly tapping more into the density. The density of being “someone“. In my case the identification of being a handpan player, a good father, a loving human, a compassionated friend and so much more. All of those qualities are neither good nor bad. They reflect my inner world, my soul and may be seen by people in many different ways. The important point is that I can be all of this - but my truth is beyond. My truth lies beyond good and evil, beyond forms and concepts. “Be water“ reflects the moment of being my true self.
“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless – like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” ~Bruce Lee
