Lotus : Babe I’m Gonna Leave You

Sydney band Lotus only released one single in its lifetime but ’Lotus 1 (I’ll Be Gone)’, which came out in 1971, proved to be a classic Australian rock song. Unfortunately, other recorded examples of their work were not to be - with the exception of this rare Led Zeppelin cover, which was shown on Hit Scene (ABC TV) on October 10 1970. Interestingly, this was six months or so before the release of the single.
