Daniel Hoffman - Romanian Hora, Doina, and Din Dobrogea (klezmer fiddle)

A performance from the December 8, 2011 premier of Daniel Hoffman’s new deep klezmer fiddle project, Violin Without a Case at the Inbal Theater in Tel Aviv. This clip starts with a Romanian hora in Em from the Kostakowsky collection, and continues with a doina originally recorded by Leon Ahl circa 1911 in Poland. It continues with a Romanian tune in 9/8 called Din Dobogea.
