To stumble upon Caroline Gidiere’s home in Alabama, one might do a double-take. Inspired by the George Wythe House in Colonial Williamsburg, Gidiere partnered with architect James Carter to build her very own on a quiet street in the suburbs of Birmingham. The brick Georgian home is a true show-stopper with an interior and garden that can compete with its curb appeal. From the square dining room with hidden cabinets to the pattern-clad upholstered walls, Gidiere’s personal style is a how-to in timeless and chic decorating.
