Tibet - Popularity of traditional medicine

Tibet’s traditional medicine dates back more than 1300 years, but still hundreds of people throng the main hospital in Lhassa every day seeking cures for ailments ranging from the common cold to complicated lung diseases. More than 550 patients line the halls every day of the Hospital of Tibetan Traditional Medicine a few steps from Lhassa’s oldest and most sacred temple of Jokhang. SHOWS: LHASA, TIBET.
