Sick Road Mountain Race: the story of the 2022 SRMR

After winning the 2021 edition, I decided to race the Silk Road Mountain race again to defend my title. I went all the way to Kyrgyzstan to tackle this 1800km long epic adventure on some of the most beautiful roads I have ever seen. And I was elated to have a chance to explore this amazing country once more. Little did I know I would get sick before the start, making this already challenging endeavor, the hardest ride of my life.
