Lucky Miss Malinda’s Netting Adventure

It’s really heartening to know that fruit growing member of the public are trying their best to use wildlife safe small aperture fruit tree netting but sometimes even the best intentions can go awry. Rescued by Maren out of wildlife friendly netting, Malinda managed to find her way under the netting and was free ranging when rescued. However, as we don’t know with certainty that she hadn’t been trapped before releasing herself from the netting, Malinda is staying in care for a short while under observation. Top marks to the home owner for caring and for doing his best to not injure our precious wildlife. Please never use any netting you can poke a finger through as it’s extremely dangerous to all wildlife.
