Russian combat engineers clear landmines with robotic system

Even after a battle is over, there are dangers lurking everywhere. For example, the landmines scattered around Avdeevka, waiting to claim unsuspecting victims. A team of Russian combat engineers have been painstakingly sweeping the area around the city for mines, with the help of armored mine clearance vehicle Kort-B and robotic complex Uran-6. Footage released by the Ministry of Defense shows the equipment in action, clearing roads and creating safe passages for troops. The engineers have been able to neutralize various types of mines, both Soviet and foreign-made types, as well as ‘booby traps’ and unexploded elements of cluster munitions, all while working from a safe distance.
