An Object At Rest | My entry for the 5th International Film Music Competition

So recently, I joined this awesome competition. The 5th International Film Music Competition sponsored by the Zurich Film Festival. It actually took me about 2 months to compose a musical score that would be appropriate for the chosen short film. Unfortunately, my entry didn’t win. But that’s okay. :) It’s my very first time to compete solo in a competition (especially an international competition). I might not be a composition or music technology major (I’m a vocal performance major), but I still enjoy composing. It’s more of like a hobby for me (maybe future career? haha). There is always next year. This competition has given me a interesting experience and a chance to explore how far my musical imagination, talent, and skill can go. At least I know what to improve one. :) So here it is, friends: The 2016 ZFF-IFMC competition film, “An Object At Rest“, created by Seth Boyden Music re-imagined* (Is that the right term for it? O.o ) by JR de Guzman. :) I must also acknowledge the composer of the original
