Playgrounds Aka Children’s Playground (1953)

South Bank, London. Various shots of children having fun in a playground on the South Bank. We see them playing on a huge concrete ship called ’The Festival Queen’, running in and out of a kind of igloo maze and cramming into a car that has had all the works except the wheel removed. There is also a large model train and a bus for the children to play on. It looks like good fun. Good C/Us of children playing with concentrated looks on faces. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
