Tribute to Tagore

Embassy of India, Vienna Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India Ministry of Culture, Government of India Alankara Indian Classical Music Society, Vienna present a special spring season online concert by sitar player Alokesh Chandra, which is a tribute to the great Indian poet and composer Rabindranath Tagore, who’s 160th birthday anniversary is celebrated on 7th of May around the World. Alokesh Chandra will be performing traditional spring season ragas (Indian melody forms) as well as some famous compositions of Tagore. The performance is organised by the Indian Embassy in Vienna and will be broadcast online live on YouTube.
