In this video, we’ll use Scene Nodes to make a spline that randomly zig zags through space.
There are existing C4D workflows that allow for this (the Random Effector in Points mode for example), but this shows a few key scene nodes techniques:
1. Modifying the Points of a pre-existing spline with the Points Modifier.
2. Creating unique Pseudo-Random Values with the Hash node.
3. Creating Values that Range between with the Hash node.
## Nodes Used
- Segment: To create a simple line with a bunch of points.
- Points Modifier: To take a clean line and modify the points by index.
- Hash: To create a Random Seed, and random Vectors.
- Negate: To give us a -Radius value.
