LODKA - is a play about life in a small theater. The spectators are invited to plunge into a quirky universe where the endearing performers are the characters of a play constantly being rewritten! The play leaves them stranded in a small boat in the middle of the endless ocean and their difficulties in finishing the play drives them crazy! However, over the course of their adventure, they start realizing that it is not the arrival in a safe harbor (finishing the play) that counts. And that it is all about the voyage itself (working on the play), and the happiness that comes from doing the things that they all love together. The director is Sergey Byzgu, an Honored Artist of Russia, and the scenographer is Boris Petrushansky, who was also the scenographer for the original “Family Semianyki”. These talented Russian clowns are co-authors and performers in the cult play “The Family Semianyki”: Yulia Sergeeva, Marina Makhaeva, Olga Eliseeva, Alexandr Gusarov. For this new venture they have invited Natalia Parashkina.
