For more: The 16th #G20 Leaders’ Summit wrapped up in Rome last weekend, with the pandemic and climate change high on the agenda. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin did not attend physically but spoke via video link. Earlier, the U.S. said the other G20 members can be “energized“ and “united“ without their presence. During the summit, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi had an hour-long talk with his U.S. counterpart on the sidelines.
