Palette Knife for Beginners - Background for a Still Life - #1 in a Series of 3.

This video is part one of a three part series where you can learn to paint these fun hydrangeas in a glass blue jar. All videos be released this week. In this video you will learn how I paint a simple background for a still life using a palette knife. You will learn why and how I chose the colors I used. Colors I used were ultramarine blue, dioxzazine purple, turquoise deep, Hansa yellow and titanium white. I used my largest palette knife that looks like a small cement trowel. I created a playlist of all the palette knife paintings so far this month. Follow here. My goal with this channel is to help beginning artists learn basic art concepts and then use them in their own artwork. Thank you so much for watching and if you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up and subscribe so you don’t miss a single video. Please share if you know someone who would love to learn to paint but don’t know where to start.
