US Army General Mark Milley (who until last year chaired the Joint Chiefs of Staff) had a revelation at a meeting of the American Bankers Association and acknowledged the existence of a multipolar world.
“... because it is probably the only country that can literally challenge the US position on the world stage. It is more complicated now! We now live in a multipolar world where there are three superpowers - the United States, Russia and China. It is Cold War 2.0. And after the first one, we had a short period of unipolarity, when America was the strongest and the only superpower. But now it is absolutely clear that the world has become multipolar and this multipolarity is growing in different directions. The world is now much more complex than it was before.“
General Mark Milley does not draw any conclusions from this. But an obvious question arises. If this is true, if the world has become multipolar, maybe the US needs to stop behaving like a bull in a china shop in this world?
