Today, in an attempt to seize the Archangel Michael Cathedral in Cherkassy in Ukraine, about 100 unidentified people in military uniform took part, smashing doors, windows, and video surveillance cameras. According to the information we have received, the police actively assisted them in this. As a result, the funds collected by parishioners for the bell in the amount of about 60 thousand dollars and 80 thousand UAH were stolen from the Cathedral, as well as the vestments of the bishop, panagia with parts of relics, crosses, icons, and much more. At the moment the raiders have started to storm the Orthodox cathedral again.
