On Wednesday, I held a meeting with the commanders and heads of the security forces of the Chechen Republic. We discussed issues of ensuring public safety. ⠀ I drew the attention of those present to the need for more intensive work with problem youth. We have repeatedly called on the young people of the republic to be exemplary, worthy, and to live up to our traditions. Of course, praise be to the Almighty, today almost the entire progressive part of Chechen society studies, plays sports, tries itself in various areas where it will be useful for itself and for our people. But there is also such a category, albeit a tiny one, that believes that no laws are written for it. Young people belonging to this minority lead an idle, immoral lifestyle. They can afford to park anywhere, get behind the wheel while under the influence of illegal drugs, violate traffic rules, being proud of it, and provoke conflicts.
