Today we’re making 5 delicious rum drinks! Truth is I have too many favorites to count, but I especially love this lineup. Over the years, I’ve tried each of these drinks with different ratios & ingredients. Here are the recipes I’ve found I liked the best. Pick some rums you like and use quality ingredients (good grenadine is crucial in the Shrunken Skull). Hope you enjoy all of these! Cheers!

3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Kronan Swedish Punsch
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) lime juice
1/2 oz. (15 ml) rich Demerara syrup (2:1 sugar:water)
2 dashes Angostura bitters
QUEEN’S PARK SWIZZLE RECIPE 3:37
2 oz. (60 ml) El Dorado 12yr Demerara Rum
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. (15 ml) rich Demerara syrup (2:1 sugar:water)
8-10 mint leaves
4-6 dashes Angostura Bitters (float)
Mint for garnish
MARY PICKFORD RECIPE 5:52
1.5 oz. (45 ml) Probitas White Rum
1.5 oz. (45 ml) fresh pineapple juice
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) homemade grenadine*
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) fresh lime juice
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
1/2 bar spoon (2.5 ml) Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
Pineapple fronds and cocktail cherry for garnish
SHRUNKEN SKULL RECIPE 7:26
1 oz. (30 ml) Hamilton 86 Demerara Rum
1 oz. (30 ml) Don Q Gold Rum
1 oz. (30 ml) lime juice
1 oz. (30 ml) homemade grenadine*
Pineapple fronds and cocktail umbrella for garnish
EL PRESIDENTE RECIPE 8:37
1.5 oz. (45 ml) Probitas White Rum
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Dolin Blanc Vermouth de Chambéry
1/4 oz. (7.5 ml) Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao
Barspoon (3-4 ml) homemade grenadine*
Orange zest and cocktail cherry for garnish
*HOMEMADE GRENADINE
3 cups white sugar
2 cups 100% pomegranate juice
1 tsp pomegranate molasses
1/2 tsp rose water
In a medium sauce pan, combine sugar, pomegranate juice, and pomegranate molasses. Stir over heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and add rose water. Stir to combine.
