Hang Gliding With DIY Vario

XC Skies predicted thermal activity in Werfenweng, Austria. So I decided to take my custom-built variometer for a spin. I wasn’t able to gain significant altitude but the vario worked nicely during its first flight. The video includes audio output of the variometer that I recorded with an external mic.
