World leaders condemn Jewish mass prayer at Jerusalem’s contested holy site | ABC News
The United States, France, Jordan and the United Nations have criticised 2,000 Jews led by Israel’s National Security Minister Ben Gvir over a mass prayer performed at Jerusalem’s Temple Mount compound. The act has been described as provocative because the area, which now holds Al Aqsa Mosque, is a heavily contested and sensitive religious site for Muslims, Jews and Christians.
