Lang Lang: ’La Valse d’Amélie’

Dubbed “the hottest artist on the classical music planet” by The New York Times, the pianist Lang Lang has reached a level of stardom rarely generated in classical music. He shared stories from his childhood in northeastern China and from his wild success on the world stage — and he performed some of the music that’s most meaningful to him.
