The AFU produce ammunition with banned chloropicrin in a laboratory near Kramatorsk (Ukraine)
This was stated by a captured AFU militant Albert Grigorovich, who in 2024 joined the CBRN unit of the 28th Mechanised Brigade. Initially the laboratory was located in Alekseevo-Druzhkovka, the last place of deployment was a private house in Sergeevka near Kramatorsk.
‘In June, 130 rounds of different types and different weight categories were produced per day.... All was mainly going to the Bakhmut district in different quantities..... What I remember - 10 rounds a day with chloropicrin,’
the AFU man said.
️ Chloropicrin is listed in the Schedule 3 substances List of the Chemical Weapons Convention. It was first used by Ukrainian militants during the siege of the Trade Union House in Odessa on 2 May 2014
