Basic Steps for Creating a 3d Model for Cutting on a CNC Machine
I’m making a large framed mirror with what I am calling a Cartouche on the top. I’ll be milling this on the CNC machine out of poplar. TBD how I’ll finish it. Likely gold leaf for some extra bling, for fun, and to see how it looks. This just is a brief glance at the computer modeling and toolpath creating side of the process. Software used here is 3ds max, Zbrush, and Aspire.
