BODOM AFTER MIDNIGHT was supposed to be a force to be reckoned with in the Finnish metal scene, one of the biggest export products in metal, unfortunately, the project was cut short due to the sudden sad passing of guitar hero Alexi Laiho. Before the tragic event, BODOM AFTER MIDNIGHT were able to record, mix, and master three songs, which are now going to be released under the moniker “Paint the Sky with Blood.“ We met up with Mitja Toivonen, Daniel Freyberg, and Waltteri Väyrynen to talk about the release of the new EP and reminisce about the exciting adventure they were able to share with their late bandmate Alexi Laiho.
