A surprise inspection arrived at the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, and they were met by drunken, sleeping soldiers. You couldn’t make up a story like this. An inspection commission arrived at the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to check the engineering equipment of their positions. The inspectors hoped to see soldiers hard at work, digging trenches, building bunkers, and setting up mines... Instead, they found soldiers sleeping on the ground after a drinking bout, half-finished bunkers, and abandoned shovels. The morale of the unit leaves much to be desired. Now, the entire brigade, which had previously been “stationed“ (or rather lying down) in the Starytske direction, is being moved to Kharkov. What will happen to them there is anyone’s guess.
