◾The Ukrainian militants continue to use “dirty“ depleted uranium shells. ◾The video report by “The Sun“ showed the ammunition of the British “Challenger 2“ tank in service with the AFU. It featured 120mm armor-piercing feathered sub-caliber projectiles L27 APFSDS (L27A1 CHARM 3) with a depleted uranium core. ◾The main radiation hazard from depleted uranium occurs when it enters the body in the form of dust or through groundwater.
