NAMIBIA - 3 HIMBA Villages. Three types of Villages in Damaraland and Kaokoland.

The first Village, set up by real Himba people “on the move“, is located in the Spitzkoppe area and asks for a cash payment for each visitor to enter and get acquainted with their traditions. The second village, authentic, difficult to reach along dirt tracks and tracks covered with treacherous sands. One of those villages where life flows in the daily life of the Himba, regardless of whether there is the presence of guests (tourists) or not. In gratitude for their hospitality we brought basic necessities, flour, sugar, salt, bread, oil ..., which they carefully distributed to the various “families“. We were able to reach this Village being accompanied by a Himba guide who at the age of 18 decided to leave the Village tribe and settle in the city of OPUWO. His Himba relatives were in this village. The third village is an Institutional Museum of Namibia inhabited by real Himba, you pay an entrance Tiket and everyone is available to make their traditions known. Three
