The New Shepard reusable launch system was launched from and landed at Blue Origin’s Launch Site One in West Texas, on 23 October 2024, at 15:27 UTC (10:27 CDT). This was the first mission for Blue Origin’s second human-rated New Shepard (NS5), with the new crew capsule named RSS Kármán Line. NS-27 had 12 payloads: five on the booster and seven inside the crew capsule.
