Charles-Valentin Alkan - Op. 39 No. 8, Concerto for Solo Piano, Mvt. I

Pf: Marc-Andre Hamelin (1992; Music & Arts) A few years ago, I first heard Hamelin’s 2007 recording of the Concerto for Solo Piano and fell in love with it. And not so recently, it was taken down, probably due to copyright. I was wondering why a sheet music video wasn’t uploaded again... until I found out the first movement alone was about 72 pages long. Nevertheless, I was able to get the entire concerto done, with the 1992 recording. Fingers crossed that nothing happens to these gems.
