Hillsborough Stadium, Sheffield, Yorkshire Start of the FA Cup semi-final football match between Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) and Nottingham Forest. GV. Spurs kick off, playing right to left. LV. Ball is now centred and Alan Gilzean gets his head to it but goalkeeper Peter Grummitt collects easily. LV. Forest attack, Barry Lyons centres ball from right wing. There is a free for all in the goal area until Dave Mackay heads the ball over for a corner. LV. Lyons takes the corner. Frank Wignall heads the ball to goal, Cyril Knowles saves on the line with his knees then clears the ball. GV. Spurs attack. Alan Mullery tries a shot, it is deflected by Forest defender to Jimmy Greaves who shoots and Grummitt only just saves. LV. Forest attack. LV. The ball is centred. Barnwell heads and the ball goes just over the bar. LV. Spurs attack, the ball rolls to Greaves. GV. Greaves shoots and the ball goes into the net off the post for Spurs first goal.
