Interview with a Pakistani Hijra

Short interview with a hijra (transexual) I met while in Pakistan. Done as part of research for a documentary project I was working on at the time. Her name is Rani Mukherjee and here she speaks specifically about her views on relationships, and her relationship with her birth mother. Rani was deserted by her family who branded her an ’embarrassment’ and told her to never come near them again.
