Warpaint - “Stevie“ @ AB Brussels

Seeing Warpaint return to AB on May 26th 2022! Whoa. It’s been almost 5 years for me, and my 20th Warpaint gig. The girls and the band have evolved. Neither good nor bad. Just different and very versatile. They played an acoustic version of ’Melting’, all 4 in front of stage with Emily on guitar and all lights on, Stella also singing. It was awesome, but I didn’t want to disturb by waving with my cellphone. So I just filmed the following song, Stevie, which is my favorite on the new record “Radiate Like This“. I was standing 2nd row and the girls recognized me, after all these years! Jenny waved and Emily pointed at me with 2 water bottles when she left. Both me and my friend, who was new to Warpaint, very much enjoyed this show :-) Warpaint 2022 = Emily Kokal, Theresa Wayman, Jennylee Lindberg, Stella Mozgawa.
