2021 Ford F-150 Steeda Thunder, 775hp Coyote with Whipple Supercharger, Walk Around and Cold Start

This is the super truck that Ford should have built as the Lightning! Founded by accomplished racer Dario Orlando in 1988, Steeda is the single largest manufacturer of Ford-based performance parts, offering over 6,000 parts, while also being the largest privately owned Ford performance operation in the world. Since the early ’90’s Steeda also offers the full building of serialized vehicles to customer order with notable offerings such as the 2019 Bullitt Mustang Steve McQueen Edition and now the 2021 F-150 Thunder Edition. This F-150 Steeda Thunder Edition is serial #007 but is the first one built by Steeda as it was their press vehicle to show off the build and their capabilities. This is not simply a lowering kit with some big wheels and simple bolt on parts. This is a fully engineered vehicle designed to safely offer incredible performance in a turn-key package with a full warranty intact. Per the Ford window sticker this F-150 started as a 2021 XLT trim single cab produced at the Claycomo, MO (Kansas City Truck) plant and shipped directly to Steeda Autosport in Valdosta, GA to be turned into the Thunder Edition before shipping to Gorno Ford in Woodhaven, MI as the ordering dealer. We purchased it directly from Gorno Ford so you the buyer will be the first registered owner. The truck is factory equipped with the Coyote V8 mated to the 10-speed automatic. It is finished in Carbonized Gray Metallic over a Dark Slate 40/20/40 cloth interior and features $5,960 in optional equipment for a $42,705 MSRP before a promotional $1,000 discount. Steeda then installed their $34,000 Thunder Edition performance package as well as $1,400 for the optional AlphaRex black LED projector headlights for a total package price of $36,900 inclusive of transportation. This, coupled with the original Ford window sticker, results in a finished MSRP of $78,605. Steeda’s $34,000 performance package incorporates supercharging the Coyote V8 with a stage 2 Whipple supercharger exhaling through a MBRP side exit exhaust providing an astronomical total output of 775hp and 685 lb. ft. of torque! Additional upgrades are included to the suspension, exterior, and wheels and tires. Most notably are the suspension modifications which consist of a IHC 3“ front and 5“ rear lowering system complete with adjustable QA1 shocks on all four corners, 4“ OD springs on the front, fully adjustable tubular control arms with Delrin bushings, traction bars on the rear, a rear shock relocation kit, and performance leaf springs. Roof and tailgate spoilers, a flush Extang Xceed bed cover, and Velgren DDR VFT6 forged aluminum 22“ wheels with a gloss black finish wrapped in Nitto NT420V 305/40R22 tires round out the performance and sinister appearance.
