Notes from Pathe user: “The film was taken out side the Council House in Victoria Square Birmingham. The filming was of, and known as the Chamberlain Celebration’s for the 70th Birthday of the Rt. Hon. Joseph Chamberlain M.P. and his thirty years in Parliamentary service. The Celebration’s had taken place over the weekend of July 1906 with a visit to six local parks, Victoria Park Small Heath - Ward End - Aston Park - Victoria Park Handsworth - Summerfield Park - Calthorpe Park.
