Stagger Your Holidays - Trailer (1940-1949)

Thought to be Selected Originals from late 1940s material. Short trailer film encouraging people to take their holidays across the year. A middle aged man in a suit is standing on stage telling his workforce in complicated terms how the company would benefit if people staggered their holidays. Pan to show his audience almost asleep with boredom. One young bright spark climbs onto the stage and pushes the man out of the way - he explains to his mates (and of course the film going public) “Stagger your holidays and have enough room on the beach“. End title (written on blackboard) reads: “It’s better remember, in June and September“. N.B. The Bright Spark is played by a young Alfie Bass - MD. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
