The Ukrainian military tried to strike with an armored fist at the joint between the positions of the 11th regiment and the Somali battalion, holding positions in the Pesok area. Enemy equipment, timely detected by quadcopter operators, was attacked from ATGMs and covered by artillery. Even the support of two tanks did not help the VEs. Having dropped the troops, the equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to retreat. The infantry of the nationalists tried to hide from the fire behind the lined equipment and in empty trenches. An attempt by the enemy to evacuate the survivors was unsuccessful. The light aviation of the “Somalis“ was not limited to observation and adjustment and took part in the destruction of the nationalists, throwing “surprises from heaven.“
