Russian Defence Ministry report on the progress of the special military operation - 2023-07-25

▫️The AFU continued unsuccessful attempts to conduct offensive actions in Donetsk, Krasny Liman and South Donetsk directions. ▫️In Donetsk direction, the active actions by the defending units, aviation and artillery of the Yug Group of Forces, 8 enemy attacks have been successfully repelled near Belogorovka (Lugansk People’s Republic), Zaitsevo, Pervomaiskoye, Maryinka and Kleshcheevka (Donetsk People’s Republic). ▫️In addition, the units of the 28th, 54th mechanised, 80th airborne assault brigades of the AFU and the 107th Territorial Defence Brigade have been eliminated close to Grigorovka and Konstantinovka (Donetsk People’s Republic). ▫️In addition, ammunition depots of the enemy 3rd Assault Brigade and the 4th Battalion of Operative Purpose of the National Guard of Ukraine have been destroyed close to Grigorovka and Spornoye (Donetsk People’s Republic). ▫️The enemy losses were up to 280 Ukrainian servicemen, 3 tanks, 5 armoured fighting vehicles, 8 pickup trucks, 1 Polish-manufactured Krab self-propelled artillery system, 2 Msta-B howitzers, 3 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems, and 1 AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery radar station. ▫️In Krasny Liman direction, as a result of competent and well-coordinated actions of the Tsentr Group of Forces, 4 enemy attacks have been repelled close to Nevskoye, Novovodyanoye (Lugansk People’s Republic) and Torskoye (Donetsk People’s Republic). ▫️In the course of successful counterattack actions, units of the 15th Motorised Rifle Brigade under the skilful command of Lieutenant Colonel Builov liberated Sergeevka. The total advance of our troops was up to 4 kilometres along the front and up to 2 kilometres deep into the defending enemy troops. ▫️Close to Serebryansky forestry, units of the 234th Airborne Assault Regiment, commanded by Guards Colonel Vasilyev, have repelled an enemy attack, inflicted a fire damage on the AFU units and started counterattack actions. Acting competently and coherently, the servicemen rapidly advanced 1.5 kilometres deep into the AFU defence. ▫️The activities of 1 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group have been suppressed near Terny (Donetsk People’s Republic). ▫️In addition, 21st, 63rd and 67th mechanised brigades of the AFU and the 5th Brigade of Operative Purpose of the National Guard of Ukraine have been also hit close to Terny, Torskoye and Yampolovka (Donetsk People’s Republic). ▫️Ammunition depots of the 44th Motorised Infantry Brigade and the 100th Territorial Defence Brigade of the AFU have been destroyed near Torskoye (Donetsk People’s Republic) and Novolyubovka (Lugansk People’s Republic). ▫️The enemy losses were up to 190 Ukrainian servicemen, 6 armoured fighting vehicles, 5 pickup trucks, 2 D-20 howitzers, 1 D-30 gun, 2 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems, and 1 AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar station. ▫️In South Donetsk direction, as a result of active actions by Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, as well as artillery of the Vostok Group of Forces, 4 enemy attacks have been successfully repelled close to Staromayorskoye (Donetsk People’s Republic). ▫️The 110th Territorial Defence Brigade’s manpower and hardware have been hit close to Novoivanovka (Zaporozhye region). ▫️In Zaporozhye direction, as a result of active actions by units, Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, as well as artillery, 33rd and 47th mechanised brigades, the 35th Marine Brigade of the AFU, the 108th and 129th territorial defence brigades close to Zeleny Gai, Mirnoye, Orekhov, Malaya Tokmachka and Pyatikhatki (Zaporozhye region). ▫️In addition, the activities of 3 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been suppressed near Dorozhnyanka (Zaporozhye region). ▫️Ammunition and fuel depots of the AFU 33rd Mechanised Brigade and the 15th Brigade of Operative Purpose of the National Guard of Ukraine have been destroyed near Malaya Tokmachka and Orekhov (Zaporozhye region). ▫️The enemy losses were up to 140 Ukrainian servicemen, 1 tank, 4 armoured fighting vehicles, 2 motor vehicles, M777 artillery system, UK-manufactured FH-70 howitzer, 2 D-20 guns, as well as Giatsint-S howitzer. ▫️In Kupyansk direction, as a result of active actions by Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, and artillery of the Zapad Group of Forces, manpower and hardware of the 14th and 43rd mechanised brigades of the AFU and the 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade have been hit close to Molchanovo, Petropavlovka, Berestovoye, Kislovka (Kharkov region) and Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People’s Republic). ▫️The enemy losses were up to 35 Ukrainian servicemen, two armoured fighting vehicles, three motor vehicles, two D-20 howitzers, and one AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar station. ▫️In Kherson direction, the enemy losses were up to 60 Ukrainian servicemen, 10 motor vehicles, and 1 Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system.
