The COMPLETE Guide to Walk Cycle Animation
Everything you need to know for animating walk cycles, from blocking, through spline, polish and presenting it all using instanced geometry, in both a production setting for Feature, Games, TV and VFX, as well as for your personal shots.
While this tutorial was made using Maya and AnimBot, there are plenty of free tools out there which do the same thing, and hopefully they are all available for Blender too!
I edited down around 4 hours of footage for this tutorial, so while its a lot shorter than the raw footage, its still pretty long though, so feel free to use the chapters to skip around!
Let me know if there’s other things you want to see and I’ll get to work on a video!
