New York legalizes jaywalking to fight racism

Jaywalking has been legalized in New York City in order to fight… you guessed it, racism. According to one Democrat councilor, laws prohibiting people from wandering into the street ‘unfairly impact communities of color.’ Now, the only thing impacting them will be the cars.
