Dublin, Ireland (Eire, Republic of Ireland). Start of the international rugby match between Ireland and France. GV. Play after Ireland having kicked off from left to right. The French have a double coloured stockings and lighter shirts then the Irish. Play during this scene went into the Irish half and is now being kicked from Irish half back to French half. SV. Irishman with ball, and he kicks it up-field. LV. Ball in the centre of the field and a French player Jean Dupy grabs it and wards off two Irishmen and then Henderson, and starts to dash up-field with the ball. He passes and tries to get it back to him. The ball is intercepted and everybody charges in. Frenchman comes out with ball and a series of close passing goes on - the ball goes loose. SV. Crowd. GV. The French being awarded the penalty. Vannier kicks the ball and it goes between the posts to put France three up. LV. Scoreboard - France 3, Ireland 0. GV. Mass of players in midfield in scrum. Frenchman gets the ball out and passes it to Haget
