Full titles read: “The Old Order Changeth! - Khartum [sic] and Omdurman... are now linked by new Bridge and electric trams over the White Nile... and both all British!“ Sudan. M/S of a lady in a large hat being handed a knife which she uses to cut the tape for the opening of a new bridge between Khartoum and Omdurman over the White Nile river. A man in a pith helmet stands beside her, various other dignitaries stand about and a small crowd watches from behind a barrier.
