Patches - First Trim

Patches received his first trim by Susan Rexin of Rexin Hoof Care. Patches came to the shelter with horribly long hooves. Animal Control was involved in removing him from his neglectful situation. After evaluation by the bare foot trimmer, Patches was put in our special padded Equine Tilt Chute for his first trim. As Susan explains, there was no way he could stand to have the hoof care he so desperately needed. He was sedated for his trimming in the chute.
