735 lbs Bench Press for 15 reps at Arnold Classic 2008 RAW! This video was taken on the second day of the 2008 Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio. The lifter shown has been an all-natural powerlifter that has competed since 2005 when he was the president of his university’s powerlifting club and has quickly moved up the ranks in the powerlifting community. Notice that this lift was completed without the aid of a bench shirt, belt, straps, or wrist wraps. However, this is considered a “gym-lift“ since it was not performed at a sanctioned contest with officials present but it is still an impressive feat. Regularly drug tested, Zac Lauer has set numerous junior-powerlifting records in the bench press, rack-pull, and the deadlift in Canada and is in the process of training for amatuer strongman competitions.
