Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin - Spring Green, Wisconsin

Touring Taliesin, one of the most prestigious homes ever built. Designed and lived in by famed American Architect - Frank Lloyd Wright, who is often considered the greatest architect/visionary of the 20th century. Taliesin is located near Spring Green, Wisconsin. Tragedy occurred here in 1914, when a house servant went mad and murdered Frank Lloyd Wright’s mistress, her two children, and four other guests with a shingling hatchet, and then attempted to burn the house down. Frank Lloyd Wright went on to rebuild Taliesin after the fire and named the new home Taliesin II. In 1925, another fire broke out sparked from faulty electrical wiring and Frank Lloyd Wright later rebuilt Taliesin a third time, thus naming the current structure Taliesin III.
