“AK-74“ / SAIGA MKK-102 disassembly and replacing the handguard and muzzle device

In this video we take a deeper look into the disassembly and assembly of an AK pattern rifle, as well as how to remove and replace the original hand guard, gas tube and muzzle device with replacement parts from Armacon. The steps taken in this video are fairly universal with all types and calibers of the AK- family rifles. There may be differences depending on the make and model of your rifle. The rifle handled in this rifle is a Russian made Izhmash Saiga MKK-102 chambered in .223 Rem. Parts replaced are the “HORT“ -MLOK handguard and gas tube, “VOLK“ 5,45 flash hider (also suitable for .223) and the “KNOPKA“ charging handle cap. You can see their catalogue here:
