The Lord Bless You And Keep You - John Rutter arr. Bobby Goulder (one-man choir)

Available for weddings and funerals as singer, pianist, or band. Please visit I was commissioned to arrange and record this piece for the memorial of somebody close to a friend of mine. It was the middle of the 2020 lockdown so in lieu of getting a real choir to sing it, I decided to experiment with a video technique I’d not really tried before! I layered up all the vocal parts, filmed each voice in different positions from different angles with the help of the highly skilled Ali Webb, and used a masking technique to edit the footage together. Special thanks must go to St. Mary’s Church, Saffron Walden for letting me use the beautiful space for the filming.
